The Adult Education Center at NTI serves the community by providing free instruction to all adults, age 18 and older, who wish to improve their academic skills, obtain an Arkansas high school diploma, learn English, or study for citizenship. We welcome all adults and offer a relaxed and friendly educational environment, unlike any school experience from the student’s past. We think our Adult Education Center is one of the best-kept secrets in Springdale!
We offer the following classes: GED Preparation, Adult Basic Education, Basic Skill Review, English as a Second Language, and citizenship preparation. We provide both daytime and evening classes, flexible scheduling, and individualized instruction. Some on-line study programs are also available. Classes are conducted on-site as well as various locations throughout the Springdale area.

The Adult Education Center has a “managed enrollment” policy which simply means that students may enroll on ANY MONDAY from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. GED students must enroll during GED Orientation, which is offered at 9:00 a.m. or 5:00 p.m. each Monday.
Adult Education Objectives
- To improve the academic level of adults by providing a means to obtain an Arkansas High School diploma.
- To improve the skill level of all students, in order to meet their personal, academic, and professional goals.
- To foster the development of confidence in all adult students.
