ADULT EDUCATION CENTER

The Adult Education Center on NWTI's Main Campus in Springdale offers free instruction to adults who need to get a high school equivalency diploma (GED®) or wish to improve basic academic skills. The center also offers classes for non-native speaking adults who want to speak, read, and write English or get United States citizenship. In addition, academic computer skill training, workplace training, and WAGE certifications, career help, and test preparation help are available.

The center conducts day and evening classes on the NWTI campus.
The center offers individualized instruction, flexible scheduling, and distance learning opportunities at various locations throughout the Springdale area.

Individuals can enroll
Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.

All programs and activities at the NWTI Adult Education Center are equally accessible. Accommodations for disabilities are available.

We will not share student information with third parties without the student's written consent.

All services are paid by the Arkansas Department of Career Education, Adult Education Division.

HERE ARE THE STEPS TO ENROLL IN NWTI ADULT EDUCATION

Step 1: Complete the enrollment paperwork

Visit the Adult Education office to fill out the necessary forms. No documentation is required.

Step 2: Take a placement assessment

This helps determine which skills you need to focus on.

Class Options:

  • Formats: face-to-face, blended, or online (self-paced)

  • Times: morning, afternoon, and evening classes available

Office Hours:

  • Fall & Spring: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

  • Summer: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
