The mission of the Truck Driving program is to provide each student the opportunity to gain the technical knowledge and driving skills needed to obtain gainful employment in the truck driving industry.

Job Possibilities

What you will learn:

Technical instruction covers written tests on general knowledge, combinations, air brakes, doubles and triples, tank trucks, hazardous materials, DOT regulations, log books, and pre-trip.

The course content for Truck Driving includes 54 class hours (theory), 150 hours of maneuvering and road skills (laboratory), and 12 hours of CDL testing, for a total of 216 hours. The course lasts for five weeks.
