The Springdale Police Department’s K-9 Unit often uses the campus of Northwest Technical Institute and the adjoining Rodeo of the Ozarks for its required weekly training of its four dogs, including Nomos, a 6-year-ld Belgian Malinois. Nomos is pictured with his partner, Springdale PD Officer Morris Irvin. The K-9 Unit trains with both in tracking and discovery a minimum of five hours per week.
